Atif Aslam And Rahat Fateh Ali Khan Permanently BANNED in India

Published: April 04, 2018

With India banning Pakistani artists from working in Bollywood, singers Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam still defy the ban by lending their voices to varied projects.

While the manufacturers of Varun Dhawan's upcoming film October recently released a song by Rahat Fateh titled 'Tab Bhi Tu' (penned by Tanveer Ghazi), singer Atif Aslam has been roped in to sing a song for Salman Khan's upcoming film Race 3.

In a recent interview to Mumbai Mirror, producer Ramesh Taurani stated, "Atif has been a neighborhood of each Race film and that we felt he would be perfect for this romantic song. it'll be a surprise for the audience."

This is not all. Quite recently, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan sung for Welcome to ny while Atif Aslam sang for Tiger Shroff's upcoming film Baaghi 2. Just a couple of days ago the track, featuring the vocals of Atif Aslam, was released. Previously, Atif had sung 'Dil Diya Gallan' for Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai and was met with tons of opposition in India.

According to sources, the song written by Salman Khan for his upcoming action-thriller Race 3 may be a romantic number, which is being choreographed by director Remo D'souza.

Atif has been an integral a part of the Race franchise and he previously gave hits like 'Pehli Nazar Mein' for Race (2008) and 'Beintehaa' for Race 2 (2013).

The ban on Pakistani artists working in India happened two years ago, right before the discharge of Fawad Khan's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Mahira Khan's Raees alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
